The 2026 and 2027 events will each generate 25,000 hotel room nights and between $16 million and $17 million in spending, tourism officials said.
ST. LOUIS — St. Louis has secured a major robotics competition for two years, an event that immediately will become one of the area’s largest based on the number of hotel room nights booked.
The Vex Robotics World Championship will be held at the America’s Center Convention Complex in 2026 and 2027, officials said. The 2025 event in Dallas will bring more than 2,400 student robotics teams from the U.S. and more than 60 countries.
